Aisha Alhammadi will be participating in the 26th Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival with a site-specific installation Serenity at the Sharjah Art Museum. Drawing inspiration from Islamic architecture, Drawing inspiration from Islamic architecture, the work highlights the inner courtyard as a space that fosters life, reflection, and connection. The festival runs November 19, 2025, to January 31, 2026.
The 26th Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival 2025, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, will run from November 19, 2025, to January 31, 2026, under the theme “Siraj” (Lantern), symbolizing light, illumination, and the journey into the human soul. The festival will take place across several prominent cultural venues, including the Sharjah Art Museum, Calligraphy Square, Beit Al Hikma, and the 1971 Design Centre, showcasing approved works by Emirati, Arab, and international artists. Celebrating creativity and the depth of Islamic artistic heritage, the event is organized by the Sharjah Department of Culture (SDC) and promises to highlight a rich diversity of artistic expression across traditional and contemporary mediums.
