We are pleased to invite you to a breakfast conversation hosted by AWL Gallery during the Venice Biennale, taking place on Friday8 May at 10:00 am at Palazzo Diedo – Berggruen Arts & Culture.

The event marks the participation of Annalee Davis (b. 1963, Barbados) in the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, In Minor Keys, curated by the late Koyo Kouoh. This edition represents the first time an artist from Barbados is included in the Biennale’s official programme.

The morning begins with breakfast and offers a space for exchange, reflection, and dialogue within the context of the Biennale. AWL Gallery presents two consecutive panel discussions bringing together diverse artistic and curatorial perspectives across generations. The programme opens with Annalee Davis in conversation with curator Miguel A. López and collector Alain Servais. This is followed by a second panel featuring Agnes Questionmark in dialogue with art historian and curator Alessandra Troncone and cultural strategist Lateefa Bin Hamoodah. Both panels are moderated by curator and writer Ginevra de Blasio.
